About
The Department of American Culture and Literature at Bilkent University invites students to engage the multiplicity of understandings of “America” broadly and comparatively. Our interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts program draws on faculty strengths in a variety of fields, including intellectual and social history, literary studies, cultural studies, ecocriticism, critical race studies, social theory, and popular culture. Our students develop a mastery of the English language along with the sort of critical thinking and analytical skills they require to navigate their personal and professional lives.
