CGPA For M.A. and M.F.A.

3.00/4.00 or 80/100 (min for scholarship) 2.50/4.00 or 65/100 (min for application)

CGPA For Ph.D.

3.00/4.00 or 80/100 (min CGPA in Master) and 2.50/4.00 or 65/100 (min CGPA in Bachelor)

GRE

for international students only (GRE scores of a combined minimum verbal and quantitative total of 950 and 3,5 in analytical writing for M.F.A./ M.A. applicants, and verbal and quantitative total of 1050 and 3,5 in analytical writing for Ph.D. applicants.)

ALES

55 (equally-weighted)

ALES is required for all Turkish graduate applicants. ALES requirement is waived for applicants with GRE scores of a combined minimum verbal and quantitative total of 950 and 3,5 in analytical writing.

English Proficiency

TOEFL (213 CBT / 82 iBT / 550 PBT and TWE 4.00) or IELTS (6.5) or FCE (C) or KPDS (87) or ÜDS (87) Only Master's Candidates may also take the COPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) Exam administered by Bilkent University. Deadline for application is June 1st, 2011. 1st, 2011.
