EXCHANGE STUDENT APPLICATION

Bilkent has exchange agreements with several major universities in the U.S.A., Canada and Europe. Some of the exchange agreements are limited to specific departments but most allow students to choose courses at Bilkent from all faculties and schools.

If your home university has an exchange agreement with Bilkent University, you are invited to apply to BU as an exchange student. Students are recommended to apply BU contacting the International Office of their home universities.

Students, who are currently enrolled in a partner university, may apply to attend BU as " exchange student". To apply as an exchange student;

• You should be a full-time student at your home University
• Your home university and BU should have an exchange agreement.
• Your university must nominate you.
• You should send the application form together with all the enclosures by mail not later than the application deadlines.

Bilkent University is an English medium University. Therefore, applicants are required to provide a proof of their proficiency in English by presenting their TOEFL scores of minimum (213 CBT+TWE 4 or 80 IBT). Exchange students are required to submit "English Certification Letter" issued by their home universities.

The most important advantages of having exchange agreements among the universities for students are, no tuition will be asked at Host University and credits and grades can be easily transferred to the home university. For further information please call +90 312 290 3218 - 1065
