Orientation Program

All new international students must attend the orientation program coordinated by The Office of International Students and Exchange Programs (OISEP). The Orientation Program is a one credit compulsory course called "Orientation for International Students". It is very helpful in understanding the academic procedures and regulations of the University. The orientation program includes Turkish Courses, a tour of the campuses and environs, sightseeing and places of interest in Ankara.

OISEP is located in the Registrar's Office in the administration building near the dormitories on the Main Campus.

Students whom passed the COPE Exams, will complete their registrations through department secretaries unless they are automatically registered to courses.

(*) Documents required for a Residence Permit:

1. Passport
2. Photocopy of the passport. (ID page, Student Visa page showing last arrival date stamp)
3. One copy of “Declaration for Residence Permit Form” (typewritten)
4. Three ID photos (separately)
5. One copy of “Student Personal Information Form”, obtained from Office of International Exchange Programs
6. Application fee: 150 TL, which is approximately 100 US Dollars or 75 Euros.
