SMOKING POLICY

In accordance with restrictions stipulated by the "Prevention and Control of Harm from Tobacco and Tobacco Products" law (effective as of May 2008), smoking is not permitted in any enclosed area of the University, including faculty and staff offices and dormitory rooms. Faculty housing apartments are an exception. Individuals who do not comply with law are subject to a 70 TL fine.
