TEACHING STAFF MOBILITY / 2007-2008
Erasmus Staff Mobility can be realized by teaching staff mobility in higher education institutions that is situated in Europe and Higher Education Institutions in which mobility activity will be realized should have an inter-institution agreement and both parties should have Erasmus University Charter. Teaching Staff who works in the higher education institution can be placed in mobility with the condition of giving at least 5 hours of course in 1 week up to 6 weeks in an academic year 2007-2008. (1 July 2007- 30 September 2008)
Amount of weekly travel allowance that shall be allocated for teaching staff was divided into four different groups by taking life standards of 27 EU member countries into account and determined below . (Travel fees are made in addition to the daily travel allowance.)

Erasmus Grant of the teaching staff, who will benefit from Erasmus Mobility, is paid in 2 installments. 80% of total grant that is accounted according to the set period, in which teaching staff should go, is given as first payment. Second installment (20%) is given after submitting “Activity Report” by considering definite realization period taking place in the “Certificate of Attendance” which has to be taken by the teaching staff from the Host Institution.
In the context of Erasmus program, travel cost related to the teaching staff who is benefiting from Mobility activity is paid over its agreeable realization value in return of a document.
