  • Application Requirements
    • CGPA of at least 2.80/4.00
    • Applicants must be at least in their second year (for undergraduate students)
  • Evaluation of Applicants

Language Skills Assessment: Subcommittee worked out a methodology for assigning quantitative scores to the language skills of applicants based on their COPE scores (many of our students have had the COPE exam) and the grades achieved in ENG 101 and ENG 102. 50% of the total assessment is based on the CGPA, and a simple formula to compute the % score from the value of the CGPA is provided for university-wide use. 20% comes from the COPE grade ( on of A, B or C), and the balance comes from ENG101 (15%) and ENG 102 (15%) Formulas to convert the grades into percentages is provided for all the assessment components.

With this approach the total percentage point an applicant is entitled can be objectively computed by anyone, even by the student, in a transparent manner. The total percentage points will be used to rank the applicants within each department.
The final selection will be on the availability of Erasmus funds from the top downwards of the ranked list of applicants.
