Settings for MS Outlook:

The following screenshots were captured on  MS Outlook 2003. Your Outlook screens might slightly differ.

If you have problems in changing the settings of your Mail software, you can use the new web based webmail service until you work the problems out. The new webmail system's address is : Please click here to read about the changes related to the new webmail service.

Start your Outlook and click "E-mail Accounts" in the "Tools" menu.

next, choose "View or change existing e-mail accounts"

Select the account you want to make changes for from the list of available accounts.

Change the settings in accordance with the sample screen below (do not forget to replace with your own e-mail address) and click the "More Settings" button.

Check "My outgoing server requires authentication" and check "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" to indicate that your outgoing account is identical to your incoming account.

Click the "Advanced" tab and change "Incoming Server" and "Outgoing server" ports like below:

Note: If you prefer POP3 as your incoming mail transfer protocol the Incoming server port is: 995; and SSL should be enabled.
if you prefer IMAP as your incoming mail transfer protocol you will see the default port value of 143.

Replace the default Outgoing port value of 25 with 587.

Once you click the OK button, you shall return to the first screen which now contains the information you have modified.

You can test your settings using the "Test Account Settings" button. If all is well, you can proceed with the "Next" button.
