The Quacquarelli Symonds World University rankings report for 2014-15 lists Bilkent University among the top 400 universities in the world.
Bilkent University ranks 399th, a position it shares with Boğaziçi University. Bilkent and Boğaziçi are the only two Turkish universities to make the top 400 in the QS global rankings.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is ranked first, with the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London jointly ranked second. Three other Turkish universities are included in the top 500: Middle East Technical University, in the group of universities ranked 401-410; Koç University, in the group ranked 461-470; and Sabancı University, in the group ranked 471-480.
