Technology Transfer Office of Bilkent University (Bilkent TTO) has been awarded Technology Transfer Office support by the TÜBİTAK 1513 program.

Bilkent TTO is established in order to support Bilkent University members to be involved more effectively in national/international projects and benefit from the related support mechanisms, to enhance university-industry collaboration, to protect  and manage the intellectual property rights (e.g.; ideas, inventions, innovative and value-added knowledge) resulting form R&D efforts of university members and creating mechanisms for transferring IPs to Industry which will result in creation of new goods and services for the benefit of the society. 

36 universities have applied to the 2013 call of the program and 10 universities were qualified to receive the financial support.
