completed their MA theses.

Evrin
Tarsus Republic

the Late Roman Cooking Wares
(May, 2002: M-H. Gates).
Now a student in the Ph.D. classical archaeo-logy programme at
Selçuk University, Çiğdem is hoping to take up a research
scholarship at the University of Vienna, Austria, in the near
future to continue her study of Roman ceramics.

The Jews and

Evidence
(July, 2002: J. Bennett).
Alev is currently contemplating the pos-sibility of continuing
her research at Ph.D. level.

F.Başak Baskan-Uçar
Greek Influence in
the Anthropomorphic Representation of Deities in Hellenized
Asia: Parthia, Nemrud Dağı and Gandhara
(January, 2003: C. Gates).
Başak is preparing to depart with her husband for the USA, where
she will review the possibility of future research in either art
history or archaeology.
