Writing Every Day
As with all skills, the best way to improve your writing is to practice, practice, practice. Your academic writing and English writing skills will improve the more that you write - be it an academic paper or a letter to a friend. Below are some suggestions to help you incorporate writing into your everyday life:
- Keep a journal
- Keep an online journal, or blog
- Write letters to your friends, family, lovers, yourself, no one etc.
- Start a writing group. Meet with friends/ peers once a week or every other week and share writing in progress. Bring food to share or go out after for a treat.
- Read.
