Career Development and Placement Center provides services for Bilkent University students throughout their university years. Some of these services are:

Career Days- Information Sessions
Career Development and Placement Center organizes "Career Days" since 1989 in which various firms are invited to Bilkent University in order to build positive relations with our students. Through this program, representatives of the companies have the opportunity to present themselves, meet, recruit our students and discuss career opportunities available.

The firms may contact the center in order to get detailed information about "Career Days".

Career Fair
In 2005-2006 Academic Year, the 8th "Career Fair" was held by the center. Major firms attended Bilkent's Career Fair offering students the opportunity to interview for and discuss job openings and internships without leaving campus. Over 3000 students visited this fair.

The firms may also get in touch with the center in order to get detailed information about "Career Fair".

Information Sessions and Seminars
Information Sessions and Seminars are an opportunity for our students to exchange information with employers about professions and about specific occupations within different areas. The purpose of these sessions and seminars is to provide students with basic information about the companies, career opportunities and open positions.

Through Information Sessions and Seminars the students have the opportunity to ask vital questions and get information about companies and staffing procedures.

Interview Sessions
Since many local and international companies, international organizations, and government agencies use the center to recruit the graduates, Career Development and Placement Center arranges interview Sessions during the Information sessions.

Thus, if the firm is interested in interviewing students, informative brochures, handbooks and application forms need to be sent to the Career Development and Placement Center in advance. The center returns the completed application forms to the firms. As soon as the firms send a planned schedule including appointment time for each student, to the center, the Career Development and Placement Center plans a schedule for the interviews to ensure efficiency.

Resume writing and CV Booklets
Since a resume is a vital part of any job search and a key that opens the door of an interview, the center helps students with the preparation of their resume. The center gives informative and helpful instruction to students about the preparation of an effective resume. Turkish CV , English CV
The CV Books are prepared by the center which are sent to leading firms in different sectors.

Job Application Form
The center helps students in finding a suitable job. The students who would like to benefit from such a service should contact the center and fill an application form   prepared by the center.

The students are required to make an appointment with the CDPC for an interview to evaluate the job application form.

Firms Addresses
The students have access to the sector and contact information of more than 1000 firms at the center. Moreover, they can get more detailed information about the firms throughout the booklets and brochures which are available at the center.

Employee Form
If the firms inform the Career Development and Placement Center about their needs for employees the center will send a copy of an employee form   and provide help for recruitment without any charge.

Summer Training / Internship Opportunities
The center informs the students about summer training/internship opportunities.
