SUGGESTIONS ON ELECTIVE COURSES FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS

You can take any class that is offered in the university for credit as long as (i) the professor teaching the course agrees (ii) the course is not offered in a vocational school (iii) the course does not duplicate material taught in an ECON coded class. Remember that some of these classes will have prerequisites that may or may not be waived.

Please note that not all classes are for three credits. If a class you take has less than three credits you must make up for the difference by taking one more class or a class with more than three credits in order to graduate.

The Department especially recommends LAW101, MAN321 and HUM coded classes.

For Social Science Requirement in the first year you may choose one course from, but you are not limited by, SOC 101, PSYC 101, PYSC 102 courses.

The following is a list of courses that we think that you may like however students are strongly encouraged to search the fields and topics that they are interested in and enjoy learning.
