Hello my dear friends. The TE-504 course was a nice start for me to start thinking about my Technology knowledge and skills. From now on, as a teacher, its up to us to build on to these basic skills.During our Master's program we wrote and we will continue to write assignments and search for information on the net.Of course with practice we will become better and better. We have to keep up with the new things in the world and in the technology field. In my case,I will keep on trying out new things without being afraid because I am very confident and competent about my skills.I think continual practice and searching for innovations is a good idea for our growth.Internet provides lots of resources for us.I found some sites to that respect as such: http://www.library.norfolk.gov.uk/netways/ict/Ictskills.htm http://www.freeskills.com/ http://transition.alaska.edu/www/portfolios.html http://www.adobe.com/education/educators/external_resources.html http://www.teach-nology.com/tutorials/teachwtech/

I ma generally very bad in technology, especially in computer but with this course I discover that it is not that hard to improve your computer skills. Before hand it was too hard for me to improve my computer skills because i was not know the basic skills and the rules of computer But after learning three basic skills which are use of internet, productivity tools, educational multi media.Know I can improve my own skill with the basic knowledge that I got from te504 session. I am sure that I will go one step further than most of other teachers during my teaching carier as I am able to use technology in my lessons in order to increase the learning abilities of my students. Thanks for everything Prof. Duran

hi everyone, since this is the end of the term we all are quite tired and I am sure most of us do not want to see the computer labs for a long time:) BUT I thing we have to make the best of the knowledge that we gained this term and keep our basis strong so as to develop in the future and be role models for our students.I think we learned a lot of things about computers and they will be useful in our future teaching.

Hello everybody! Like my friends I am also very glad to take such a course in which I have found many opportunities to learn new technology skills and to improve my previous skills. In this course, I also enjoyed to be able to create new things such as web page, hyper studio, inspiration, powerpoint, etc. I believe that to be confident and competent about technology is one of the features of being an effective teacher. In order to create continual growth in using technology, we should follow innovations as much as possible. We can be aware of innovations by the way of internet and some magazines on technology. I have found two web sites: http://www.dartmouth.edu/~ac/pages/help/skills.html http://transition.alaska.edu/www/portfolios/toolsarticle.html See you later:)

Dear friends, you have great comments but I did not understand why you included some addresses of web sites on personal technological development. Thanks anyway. All I can say about how to create continuous growth in technological knowledge is that we should ask ourselves the same question, analyze the answer and implement the same strategy forever.

The question that I meant above is "What did I do in order to achieve my current level of technological knowledge?"

I believe that if we are aparted from technology we cannot carry on most of our routines and we may fail to do most of the things in our daily life. So we see that we are tightly bound with technology. In that case we should go well with it and try to use it as well as possible both for our and others' profit. Being beneficial in great extent requires continual development in the long run because the applications for the short term purposes are doomed to dwindle away. So that we should develop our cumulative knowledge for the long run purpoese. We should carry on our technological knowledge further by means of following the recent technological developments and practice them to both address the needs of the diversities and enhance the class athmosphere and enrich the instructions. All the sites you are recommending may be very useful for this purpose I think. Thank you all!!!

hello everybody. I also searched for some sites but the sites that I found were the same as yours.so I think there is no need to write them again. However, I want to say that TE 504 helped me a lot to be aware of the significance of technology while teaching. Also, it helped me to improve my computer skills during the summer semester. Hi dear Dr.Duran and my friends. I agree with Cagri why did you send e-mail addresses. Anyway, in my opinion staying with technology is so important beacuse our era is computer era, and if we want to follow the contemporary developments in our subject areas we should familiar with technology. You can ask that how can we familiar with technology? Of course the gest effective of familiar with technoogy is use of technology, but it is not enough beside this we should read magazines, articles and books to catch new information about technology.
