In a nutshell, I am an academic cognitive psychologist, specialising in human visual perception. I'd like to think that there are other facets to my life though! To find out all about it please follow the links you see on the left.

I currently work at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, as the head of Psychology Department. I moved back home to Turkey in 2004, after 10 years in UK, to help set up this new department. After a year of preparations, we admitted our first intake of students at the beginning of the 2005-2006 academic year. I am also a "visiting fellow" at the University of Surrey, where I spent almost nine of my 10 years in Britain, where I held a permanent academic position, and where I think of as my "other home".
