    COURSE DESCRIPTION: GRA 211-212 are studio courses that deal with typographic subjects. These courses introduce principles and evolution typography with concentration on type face identification and layout formulation. Assignments investigate principles of typography.

     
    In order to pursuit the objectives of this course, it is necessary for students to perform the following issues:
    • Present typography as a mode of transmition of toughts, ideas, and facts.

    • Define elements of typography, systems of measurement and production techniques.

    • Describe formal, technical and aesthetic qualities of type arrangments.

    • Present basic evelution, classification and comparison of various type styles.
