Assistant/Associate Professor, Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language 

Bilkent University invites applications for appointment at the rank of Assistant, (Visiting) Associate or  (Visiting) Full Professor in the MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language Program at the Graduate School of Education with an expected start date of September 2, 2019. This is a full-time position with multi-year renewal, and promotion potential, contingent on successful review.

Requirements: Applicant must have an earned doctorate degree in TEFL, TESOL, TESL or a closely related field. Preference will be given to applicants who have publication record in reputable journals, an active research agenda, and teacher education experience. Having a teaching certificate, and/or teaching experience in secondary school context will be an asset.

Responsibilities include teaching MA & PhD level courses, supervising graduate theses and dissertations, and maintaining active scholarly work in the field.
