Assistant/Associate Professor, Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language (TEFL/TESL)

The Graduate School of Education at Bilkent University invites applications for appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Program (http://www.matefl.bilkent.edu.tr) with an expected start date of September 2, 2019 or earlier. This is a full-time position with multi-year renewal contingent on successful review.

Applicant must have an earned doctorate in TEFL or a closely related field, such as TESOL or Applied Linguistics. Preference will be given to applicants who have publication record in reputable journals, and teaching experience at the graduate level as an assistant professor or above.

Responsibilities include teaching graduate level courses to practising teachers, supervising graduate students, and maintaining active scholarly work in the field.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with credentials and experience.
