Introduction

The Department of Political Science at Bilkent University has been a pioneer in the scientific studies of the government, society and politics in Turkey. Its current faculty has been recruited from some of the leading universities in the world. The department has a policy of openness to diverse methodological approaches and interdisciplinary research.

In a recent survey conducted at the University of London, the Department of Political Science at Bilkent University was ranked among the top 200 political science departments in the world, the only one to be included in this distinguished group from Turkey.
