Office hours for Spring 2006:   Anytime by appointment

You can follow the links on the left to get more information about your class. At the risk of sounding despotic, listed below are my principles I follow for the classes I teach.  I would be happy to hear your comments and suggestions on these issues:

  • Attendance is obligatory; there will be short unannounced quizzes, especially on the days with low attendance.
  • Loud classes will have very frequent unannounced and difficult quizzes.
  • There will be a cumulative makeup at the end of the semester for those who missed any of the exams with a legitimate excuse (documented medical or other emergencies).
  • I have scheduled office hours, and I am usually available after class for discussion or to schedule an appointment in case there is a conflict with my hours.
  • Textbooks are supplementary material, you are mainly responsible from material covered in the lectures.
