research projects
2006-2007. ‘The Effect
of Political Regime Type on Health,’ Research Grant from The
Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (with Arzu Akkoyunlu).
Our aim in this project is to (1) establish whether political regime type is a
significant determinant of morbidity and mortality, (2) compare the effect of
political regime type with other determinants of health and (3) examine through
what causal channels, if any, political regime type has an effect on morbidity
and mortality.
