ERASMUS EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Some of the exchange agreements are limited to specific departments, but students may choose courses at Bilkent from all faculties and schools.

If your university has an exchange agreement with Bilkent University, you are invited to apply to Bilkent University as an exchange student. If not, the School of Applied Languages welcomes new Erasmus exchange partners directly. Students are recommended to apply to Bilkent University by contacting the International Office of their home universities.

Students who are currently enrolled in a partner university may apply to attend Bilkent University as an "exchange student".

To apply as an exchange student:

  1. You should be a full-time student at your home University.
  2. Your home university and Bilkent University should have an exchange agreement either in the form of Socrates-Erasmus or a general bilateral.
  3. Your university must nominate you.
  4. Applicants are required to provide proof of their proficiency in English by presenting TOEFL scores (213 + TWE 4 or above) or other internationally accepted proficiency examination scores (IELTS, FCE, or CPE).

No additional tuition will be asked by the host University. Credits and grades can be transferred after the termination of the study, provided that students pass the courses in the learning agreement.
