Welcome to the Teacher Education Program at the Graduate School of Education, Bilkent University.
The program is devoted to preparing teachers with a scholarly mindset who cultivate inquiry to inform knowledge and practice, and who stimulate growth and change.
The program offers an academic degree, and two professional certifications:
The program is designed to prepare aspiring teachers with a scholarly mindset through its rigorous academic curriculum, and robust dual professional certification processes. It aims to cultivate inquiry, develop core professional skills, nurture growth, and stimulate a critical mind frame. These unparalleled processes include ample amount of experience at a variety of prestigious schools at local, national and international contexts.

- a solid academic background in the area of Curriculum and Instruction through an MA degree
- a certificate of teaching, currently in the areas of Biology, English, Mathematics and Physics
- an International Baccalaureate (IB) Educator Certificate in teaching and learning, which gives the opportunity of exploring the principles and practices associated with the IB Diploma Programme.
