Bilkent has Erasmus Agreements (Erasmus Exchange Partners List) with several major universities in Europe. All exchange agreements are limited to certain departments, however most allow students to choose courses from all faculties and schools at the University.

If your home university has an Erasmus exchange agreement with Bilkent University, you are invited to apply to BU as an Erasmus exchange student.

To apply as an Erasmus student;

• You should be a full-time student at your home university.
• Your university must nominate you.
• You should mail the application form along with all the enclosures no later than the application deadline.

If you wish to study at Bilkent University as an Erasmus exchange student, you should contact your home university first. Students who are nominated by their home institutions have to fill out an application form.

This form and all other accompanying enclosures* must be mailed to the address provided in the application form by May 30, if students wish to apply for the Fall semester or for the full academic year, and by November 30, if students wish to apply for the Spring semester.

The Fall and Spring semester offerings may not be finalized at the day of your application, however cheking previous Fall and Spring semester offerings will help you decide. To check the previous semester offerings, please click on "Offerings" section and change it to the semester that you are interested in attending.

Bilkent University is an English medium University. Therefore, applicants are required to provide a proof of their proficiency in English by presenting a letter issued by their home University International Office indicating that they can follow the courses in English.

*Official nomination letter and the English certification letter issued by the sending institution, transcript (the list of courses and the grades taken during the university education), learning agreement and a recent passport photo with your name written on the back.
