To build a pinhole camera using a box or can, that must be light safe, completely dark within. The dimensions of the box will determine the image size. Make a tiny opening such as pin-size hole on one side centre of the box. The pin-size hole must be sufficiently large to see the image. Don't forget that if your hole size is too big the image will be blurred. Remove the opposite side of your box and place a very thin paper where the image will be formed and seen.
