Project 11: Draw Attention of the Subject

Project Requirements:

35mm Camera with a standard lens. A tripod. One roll (36 exp.)Medium speed (FP-4 Ilford) B&W Negative film. 18x24 or 20x30cm llford glossy or semi Matt surface Multi-grade paper. One sheet of contact. Make 6 good 18x24cm prints.

1- Photograph any object or person using placement and large size to focus attention on your subject. In this picture we want you to do two things to make your subject stand out:

- First, place your subject up front so that it is larger than everything else in the frame.
- Second, position your subject so that it is off-center in the frame, following the rule of thirds.

2- Photograph any object, person, or scene using framing to focus attention on your subject.

3- By using lines to draw the eye toward a point of interest, Photograph any object, person, or scene using converging lines to focus attention on your subject
