Project Requirements:
No Film & Camera equipment. Some opaque & non-opaque objects. Make at least 3 sheet of 18x24 or 20x30cm B&W prints with some test strips.
Make strong linear and tonal designs by means of photograms laying objects in direct contact with the printing paper. First make a test with your test strips to find the right exposure (no filter required) that gives pale grey, mid grey and full black. Then try:
1-Numerous opaque objects paper clips, beans, etc. which you shift around the paper or partly remove after one-quarter, half and three-quarters the full black exposure.
2-With the correct exposure, opaque and non-opaque (transparent) objects on a printing paper, all in surface contact.
3-With the correct exposure, the repetition of an object make pattern on a printing paper.
